BIO

Clive - Lounge - 1 - FInal - Graded.jpg

Raised between Wellington and Feilding, I spent much of my youth in the Manawatū with whānau—working on farms and at the freezing works. Those early years shaped my values: hard work, fairness, and community. After living overseas in Australia and the United States, my wife and I have returned to give back to the place we call home.

I celebrate being Māori and Pākehā. My life reflects both, and I believe our diversity is something to honour—not something that should divide us. I bring experience as an international business and media consultant, property investor, youth pastor, and leadership mentor. I’ve also recently published my first book, The Busboy.

WHAT OTHERS ARE SAYING

The Busboy is a book that will move and challenge you. This is a true story of hope and faith. You cannot read this book and not be moved and challenged about your own personal life journey.

This story is of a man who worked hard to be his best in all that he has done. A man who had everything and lost it all just to fins his truth and his purpose. This story has changed my personal and business life. I have applied the principles of the book to my business and have seen my business grow by in excess of 50%. Nothing in life is random and I choose to live in Freedom and Fear.

The Busboy is an amazing guide to living life. As my own life unfolds in its own wild adventure, I often reference back to the guiding wisdom of the Busboy, his journey, and his checklist. I am learning to love myself and to live my life in freedom, and love, not fear. I am sure I am on the right train.

Westoe, a Victorian-era country house built near Marton in 1874, was supposedly inspired by Queen Victoria’s Osborne House, her home on the Isle of Wight. The two-storey wooden building with an Italianate tower was home to Sir William Fox (a prominent political figure in colonial New Zealand and four times New Zealand premier), his wife Sarah and their adopted son.
